Additional Information

I have a small team of assistants who work very closely with me to enhance my setting further.

​

I have been working with assistants since 2007 and this offers more flexibility when meeting the needs of all of the children. For example, I maybe clearing away from lunch whilst the children are being occupied with an activity or being settled for sleep.

​

The children receive an abundant supply of attention from all staff, this can consist of; attention on an individual basis, working with each other in small groups or going out and about on adventures. For younger babies, this may include simple fabric books, treasure baskets and the all important snuggles and cuddles during the day.

 

My Husband Ray is registered with Ofsted to work as my Assistant and does so if necessary.

Any Assistant who might be in sole charge of the children for any period of time, must hold a current paediatric first aid certificate. Parents' written permission is required for sole care by an assistant and the maximum time allowed is up to 2 hours in any one day.
